What are the health precautions at Byhartz Clinic?
Masks must be worn at all times while in the building.
Temperatures are required to be taken at the door. A person with a temperature greater than 100.4 degrees will not be allowed to come in and will need to reschedule.
Adult patients need to attend their appointment alone. For minors, one parent or guardian may accompany them. Special circumstances will be addressed on a case by case basis.
Please call the office to reschedule or see telehealth appointment options if:
If you have any cold or flu like symptoms, in the last two weeks.
If you or someone you have been exposed to, have travelled recently.
If you work/live in a place with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past two weeks.
Can I have a telehealth appointment?
Yes! Telehealth appointments are available for those who would prefer that option. If telehealth is not covered under insurance, we offer a discounted cash rate. Contact the office for more details.
How can I prepare for my first visit?
Respond to your welcome email the requested information to set up your electronic health records account.
Set up your eCharm account and fill out and sign all electronic questionnaires and consent forms.
Request an appointment through the eCharm portal.
Upload any health records you may have into your portal, or ask your physician to fax your pertinent records.
When you arrive, the front door is locked. Please either text upon your arrival, or ring the doorbell.
We appreciate you being on time for your appointment. While you wait for Dr. Hartz, make sure to be in a quiet and private space for your online visit. If you do not see Dr. Hartz connected after 10 minutes, please contact the front desk.
Does Dr. Hartz treat COVID-19 and Long Covid?
Yes! Dr. Hartz prioritizes educating patients on making lifestyle choices to help prevent exposure and major illness from COVID-19. She has specialty training in the most well- researched treatment options for acute COVID and the prevention and management of Long-Covid.
What insurance are you accepting?
We accept most insurance plans. Coverage depends on your individual plan. We do not verify benefits in office, so please contact your insurance provider for exact coverage. Dr Hartz is not contracted with Aetna, Cigna, United Health Care or Medicaid and Medicare plans.
